This special attention to WeirdInnocence-----> is not accidental My previous related deviation [link] was really a product of anger
I hope this one will prove to be not just a pleasing sight with a fitting title A, how shall I put it? A Veni Vidi and Go thing (Ήρθα, Είδα, Την Έκανα
I hope the accompanying text will make even more clear my thoughts and feelings which I want, I need, to share with you
This [link] leads to a recent previous deviation which hints to many key aspects of my general attitude aboard DeviantArt, as this one will try to do also
I have been in London three times (1979, 1982, 1996) I have visited the original Tate Gallery, went to photograph Karl Marx's grave, saw the last original Punks, I even went to a punk-group live event -- I was there to see those curious and so inviting TV-like consoles of the first video game hit "Invaders" -- Bear in mind that I am a video-gamer since PONG I was there in the days of "Rock Against Thatcher"
On the first two occasions I returned to Athens with an armful of vinyl albums and many English books, the third with CD's and books -- Well, those books and that music made me realize this: If I were to come near any glimpse to any high-valued ideal and concept, I had to find material using English sources -- Greek language had an Acropolis flavor -- Nice construction but try Hilton for the night! I had all the Greek words standing tall and pride, doing nothing! -- I just had to improve my English
Imagine my utter joy to be able to read and understand the ZX81 computer manual -- Computers were another revelation for me -- Their scope was just infinite!
Addressing the here "manipulated" person and cyberfriend, I say to all UK people: Thank you for your language, your music and your humor
Awww. Well, I think many people find other languages and cultures rather interesting; to us, I don't think we're as interesting as you make out. ;] I wish, more people would take things in their stride, learn langauge, lift some barriers, and throw themselves at the world. I already know parts of over 7 different languages. Unfortunatley, only two can I use conversationally, and one is English. But I plan on keeping on learning language. It opens so many new doors and its like a whole new world! Its definatley fantastic.
Now, I have friends all over the world. And I've built up relations with people in the country I plan on going to for my future. If I hadn't got interested in language, and started to learn Asia's culture, this would never happened! So I think more people should take it in their stride!
I also think England should teach kids language a lot younger. The education department of the government has a bad attitude towards that. Its like "England is a second language in a lot of countries, we don't need to learn other languages." And I *hate* that approach. Its not right. Other countries teach their native tounge AND English, or another second language at an early age, why should our Government be so stuck up and not teach US another language? Right now, I really wish that school taught me a language from an early age. Those three years of compulsary French I did at school did nothing for me. Nor was it enjoyable like it should be. And because of that, I can remember pitance of what I was taught. In fact, I've learnt more Japanese and their culture in the past 6 months then I learnt French in those three years! Though I do think, the higher will to learn has a part to play. But learning is human nature, curiosity. Some just have that more than others.
Sorry for the ramble there!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
