Fractal obsession

as not too naive or plainly dumb

Making fractals means using specific mathematical manipulation software

The "user" chooses by pushing and pulling from a vast array of virtual knobs and levers trying to "tune" millions of repeating equations into pleasing images

Every tiny little pixel contributing to the big picture is colorized with mathematical sharpness

After many years (many, happy and rewarding years) and
too many rendering hours I decided to take the situation further on my hands
I present you this image, a hand-made fractus

The "seed" is a fractal by itself, made with a very artistic fractal producing software, Apophysis

"Self similarity" is obtained not only by the repeating placement but also from a play with the hue
Hues have a 45 degrees step, thus creating color cycles
